Chris Sheldon is a retired police inspector whose uncle was killed in WW2.  He spent a lot of time & effort researching the circumstances of his uncle's death in North Africa.  Whilst on parade at Leek's Memorial Clock Tower for Remembrance Day, Chris decided that the one hundred and one brave WW2 men, whose names appear on the Leek Memorial, deserved the same detailed attention, and so the idea of "In Name Only" was born.  The detail and some of the stories that Chris uncovered of these men makes compelling reading.

A book, not only for those who may remember first hand the ravages of war, but a reality which everyone young and old alike should know about.  Despite the subject matter the book is far from depressing and contains much interesting and previously unpublished information, plus many photographs and illustrations.  Produced to our usual high standard this 264 page book is exceptionally good vlue, this has been proven by the tremendous sales.

'In Name Only' has now nearly sold out of print - there are only a few copies left, whilst we are unable to offer any further discounts on this book, you should seriously consider obtaining a copy of this very interesting book.
